- day one
- the first day of the week…
- day one
- our starting point…
- day one
- how we refresh and refocus our souls for another week…
- day one
- not just another church service…
Our lives are busy enough. We don’t need another place to go, an- other thing to do, or another meeting to attend. What we need is heart-level rejuvenation. We need space for our souls to breathe.
That’s why we have day one. day one is a time to gather with people who share the same struggles we do, who need the same encourage- ment we do, but who are convinced that the strength we need to live victoriously just for this next week is found by encountering God.
THE PLAN
9:45 – re:CONNECT / we come together 30 minutes before the ser- vice to share coffee and chocolate milk around the tables with family and friends as we begin to explore the spiritual principles for the week.
10:15 – re:FOCUS / we split up into different groups to encounter God and His Word in deeply relevant ways. Kids may do a craft, adults may enjoy inspiring music, and everyone hears an encouraging message just for them from the Bible.
11:30 – re:THINK / we take a few moments again with family and friends to reflect on the lessons we have learned, and the insight we have gained for the lives we will live in the week ahead.
11:45 – re:ENGAGE / we leave our sacred space to engage the world on its own terms but with the power of God’s Spirit and a daily changing life.
